@PeterShoreite As much as I will enjoy watching their dreams get crushed I'm very happy they're at the WC. Scotland pioneered modern football as we know it and their fans are good crack.
@AndyC_88@mck73081858@BlueCoProject This is the problem, works for the NFL but it's not a footy culture. My issue with the Americans is that they insist on this being how it should be done with a degree of willing ignorance to how ball is enjoyed everywhere else.
@BlueCoProject Lack of footballing culture/heritage, high prices (US is extremely expensive for visiting fans), political turmoil, high temperatures, poor transport links, long distances between stadiums. Like I said, I want it to be a success but there's a lot of valid criticism.
@SomaliaNGooner1 Madueke has been great this season. I think there was a lot of fair skepticism with the recent track record of Chelsea signings but he covered for Saka excellently, has consistently offered creativity, and has an undeniable work rate.
@Aqui_mi_casa Yo sé que es subjetiva pero no puedo soportar muchos de estos pueblos por la gran cantidad de turistas que hay. Ronda, por ejemplo, es un lugar pintoresco pero le falta autenticidad y es carísimo.
@beaniemaxi Where this has failed in GameFi has been the games themselves. Counterstrike essentially has a tokenized economy with a relatively simple, albeit massive, ecosystem. It works because there is a stable growth and number of players using the protocol (game).
@beaniemaxi I agree there but what I've seen too many times is overcomplicated tokenomics that are used as a selling point that become a limiting factor when trying to actually get anything done. I do believe in a happy medium although it's very hard to achieve.
