Happy to announce that we have a new publication out in @an_chem using charge detection mass spectrometry to characterize the size and shape of protein oligomers formed after heating with and without aggregation inhibitors. Check it out here: https://t.co/4vISUIw76p
@sciqst And as far as surprising insights go, we see a large structural rearrangement from an elongated to a compact structure that occurs at both the mAb pentamer and the decamer. I think this compaction occurring exactly at units of 5 is really interesting! More details in the paper.
We have a new article out in @J_A_C_S! In a fruitful collaboration with @Merck scientists, we compared CDMS and other conventional techniques to investigate the size and shape of mAb aggregates. Check it out here if you like mAbs, native MS, or cats:

@sciqst Hi Raffaele, we didn't directly compare sensitivity in this study, but we believe that CDMS gives the most accurate picture of the solution-phase abundance of higher order aggregates of the techniques sampled here. (1/2)
Have you ever wondered how often N- 🟦and O- 🟨glycans modify the same peptide? We did too! Check out our new preprint online now, spearheaded by @joann_chong with help from @VRAdoesMS, @keira_Erol, and @TarynMLucas! 🧵👇
Excited that our most recent paper is out now in ACS Nano. We show that CDMS is a promising tool for the characterization of the diameter and surface properties of nanoparticles. Even information about nanoparticle densities can be obtained. Link here:
