"The invisible hand is not truly invisible. It is the combined effort of countless hands, many of which are being the hands and feet of God to their neighbors."

I was told today by a 17-year-old that there was no way people were writing 10 page papers without Al.
Dude, I was writing 10 page papers without having read the book.
“Someone shouldn’t make 10x (or 100x, 1000x, etc) more than another unless they work 10x harder” is not a principle we should use to determine how to allocate wealth and income. We should incentivize people to do what others value, not what happens to take a lot of work.
Agree. Also, inherent in the position that the existence of aliens would undermine religion is the idea that the aliens must be atheists. I think the opposite is more likely. What will the atheists do if aliens believe in God?
This whole Disclosure Day and Christianity thing is odd to me. Discovering aliens wouldn't affect my faith at all. I'm not under the impression the Bible rules out life on other planets. God is God regardless.
The proper way to refer to the Message is "Eugene Peterson paraphrased this verse this way in the Message..."
The proper way to refer to the TPT is "Brian Simmons plagiarized this verse this way in the Passion..."

Today's Daily Smoking Gun of plagiarism in the Passion Translation comes in Philippians 3:19.
Instead of the words "their god is their belly" which appear in all other translations, TPT (2013) gives "their god has possessed them and made them mute."
