I am super excited to announce that my recent paper with @Sigman_Lab and @JacobsenLab has been chosen by The Journal of Organic Chemistry (@JOC_OL) as their 2025 Outstanding Publication of the Year! Read our article linked below or catch my award lecture at ACS Fall!
Congratulations to UTSA Chemistry’s Dr. Jacquelyn Read on winning the 2025 JOC Outstanding Publication of the Year Lectureship Award! Her team's groundbreaking work on noncovalent interactions in organic chemistry will be honored at ACS Fall 2025 in D.C.! https://t.co/vrJibZ1MIi
My postdoc @NIRMALA_MOHANTA and I wrote a recent News & Views article for @NatureSynthesis highlighting two new methods for the meta-selective radical halogenation of pyridines.
This is our first publication from @UTSA, so we are starting out the new year on an exciting note! 🎊

Have you ever wondered how different substituents affect cation–π vs. π–π vs. CH–π vs. anion–π interactions? Well, now you can read all about it! Very excited to have this work with @Sigman_Lab and @JacobsenLab out in the world @JOC_OL#ACSEditorsChoice
A very exciting study from Jacquelyne Read, Eric Jacobsen, and Matthew Sigman in #JOrgChem: development of a computational library and automated analysis tool for assessing and predicting Noncovalent Interactions (NCIs). Selected for #EditorsChoice

Pictured on the right is our lab’s phenomenal postdoc (@NirmalaMohanta) that will be making the journey with me to UTSA. She is not only a great chemist, but she is also a fantastic partner-in-crime when it comes to making chemistry-themed puns come alive on a pumpkin. (4/4)
I am so excited to announce that I will be moving to @UTSAChemistry in January 2025 to start a position as a tenure-track Assistant Professor! We will be using data science and computational chemistry to aid our development of new organic transformations. (1/4)
So many thanks go to my Ph.D. advisor, Keith Woerpel (@nyuchemistry), as well as my postdoctoral advisors Matt Sigman (@Sigman_Lab) and Eric Jacobsen (@JacobsenLab) for the phenomenal training and support throughout all the years! (3/4)
We’re happy to announce that the Sandford Lab is moving to @UTSAChemistry in January 2025! We are also hiring postdocs to start in early 2025, including on our new @NIH@NIGMS MIRA award(!), more details below 1/3
Super fun collaboration out today in @Chem_CP with my awesome colleague @ChenfengKe! We were able to use data science to better understand the structure–property relationships of these new CrysDoS hydrogels and to predict new CrysDoS gels with more optimal materials properties.
Explore our work on double-threaded slide-rings in @Chem_CP with integrated slide-ring joints & crystalline domains! Leveraging a modular, high throughput synthesis & ML guidance @JacquelyneRead, tough & stretchable gels were 3D-printed as stress sensors. https://t.co/M3AzbM3Lo7
Have a Ph.D. in organic chemistry but want to gain experience applying data science to reaction development? The Read Lab @DartmouthChem is hiring a postdoc! See https://t.co/mNPUrb5e9m for more info. Please RT. #chempostdoc
The Read Lab is SO PROUD of our senior Honors Thesis student graduating this year, Lewis MacMillan. Yesterday he had the opportunity to present his research to the entire department @DartmouthChem! We are also going to miss our other very talented graduating senior, Joana Lame.
We are looking to hire an Admin Assistant to join our dynamic and growing department. For details see link. Please RT #administrativeassistant https://t.co/463tMTKf5F
Please Retweet: Prof. Mirica’s Group at Dartmouth College (Hanover, NH) seeks to recruit a Postdoctoral Scholar with a flexible start date in 2022. The position requires a PhD degree in Chemistry or related discipline.
Interested in joining the Chemistry graduate program at Dartmouth? Our second virtual information session / Q&A with faculty and current students is on Monday!
We are hiring a postdoc to start Spring/Summer 2022! Applicants with a synthetic organic and/or organometallic background who are interested in developing/studying catalytic mechanisms are invited to apply. For more information see: https://t.co/A6xmRo90Fp
