@sambbryo not necessarily .. the lichens on the oaks here were much more profuse than that until we had a few warm dry years. the lichens shrunk away and the trees grew much taller, faster, stronger .

@RachSalv well also swimmers catch all kinds of diseases .. we did. you have to be very careful at the muddy edges of rivers... and people damage the rivers too at times. never sure it was a good idea to swim in many of our rivers.

@TonyHinton2016 if people are not well protected by the vaccine does that suggest there wil be mutations by necessity ? is this a way to create superbugs by mistake ? that is what 'old science' used to suggest. I do worry we arent thinking about that enough.
