@CostcoUK can you clarify the policy on trying on items of clothing in-store? Staff at counter told my mum she could try on clothing in the toilet after purchase, yet another approached to advise this isnโt allowed? Surely once purchased, you can do what you like with the item?
@CostcoUK@CostcoUK more concerning, the worker was waiting for my mum to exit the toilet - she was nowhere near when she entered so how did she know she was trying on clothing? Are there cameras in your toilet cubicles? Iโm sure this not only violates company policy but also the law? ๐
In Iran, a student harassed by her universityโs morality police over her โimproperโ hijab didnโt back down. She turned her body into a protest, stripping to her underwear and marching through campusโdefying a regime that constantly controls womenโs bodies. Her act is a powerful reminder of Iranian womenโs fight for freedom. Yes we use our bodies like weapons to fight back a regime that kills women for showing their hair.
This happened at Tehranโs Science and Research University She has since been arrested by the authorities.
Be her voice.

Whether youโre a fan of Halloweโen or not, you have to give it credit for being the last line of defence against Christmas advancing even earlier into the year, a ragtag gang of goths holding the line against a battalion of baubled barbarians
Gisele Pelicot deserves the Nobel Prize.
โItโs not for us to have shame, itโs for them,โ she told the court.
"I want all women who have been raped to say: Madame Pelicot did it, I can too. I don't want them to be ashamed any longer,"
Instead of nightclubs I want a 24hr library with hot chocolate stations, a dessert bar, coffee machine, big comfy chairs and beanbags, blankets, dogs welcome, just people who want to spend the evening reading alone, together, peaceful, a cosy fire, plants, an indoor waterfall.
