Dear brother, I saw your post and felt compelled to respond, not to rebuke, but to restore.

When we speak publicly about leadership and succession, especially in a nation as spiritually and historically complex as Uganda, we must weigh our words with reverence and clarity.

Your statement, “No civilian will lead Uganda after President Museveni. The security forces will not allow it.”, may reflect a personal conviction or observation. But it risks sending a message that undermines constitutional order, fuels fear, and dishonors the very institutions we seek to uphold.

Let me offer a few reminders:

- 🇺🇬 Uganda is governed by law, not by uniform. The Constitution affirms that leadership is entrusted through the will of the people, not through military entitlement.

Security forces are guardians of peace, not gatekeepers of power. Their mandate is to protect citizens, not to determine succession.

Biblical leadership is not defined by rank, but by righteousness. God raises up leaders, civilian or military, who walk in humility, justice, and truth.

If your post was meant to provoke thought, I respect your boldness. But if it was meant to declare a fixed outcome, I urge you to reconsider. Let us speak life, not fear. Legacy, not control. Truth, not assumption.

Uganda’s future will not be secured by force, but by consecration. And as men of influence, we must model speech that builds, not breaks.

May your voice be one that calls for righteousness, not resignation. For revival, not fatalism. For legacy, not limitation.
