Colin Cowherd: "This is going to infuriate fans. When 100% of the media predicts something is an unmitigated disaster, the media is usually right. This made no sense. I have no sympathy for losing NFL franchises. None."
"[The Browns] are married to Deshaun Watson. For better or worse, they don't have a choice."

"It's about 230 million dollars. ... It hasn't worked out. ... Shedeur Sanders should be the starter."
Marcus Spears weighs in on Deshaun Watson being named the Browns starting QB on the @RichEisenShow.
History: the Browns are waiving tight end Dae’Quan Wright and, if he clears waivers, he has an agreement in place for the 2026 season to play for LSU, per agents Drew Rosenhaus and Kyle Lincoln.
Wright is believed to be the first player who could play for an NFL team, and then go back to play in college.
After watching the replay, it’s clear Shedeur’s interception yesterday was tipped at the line before it reached the tight end. Even then, the ball still hit Terry in a spot where it could’ve been caught or knocked down, at the worst.
Sanders was 8/8 for 80 yards and a TD in the game to that point.
ESPN sources: The Browns are placing starting DE Alex Wright on season-ending injured reserve with a ruptured Achilles, and they now will sign former first-round pick DE Derek Barnett.
Wright was carted off the practice field Thursday after getting hurt during a one-on-one drill with Bills OT Spencer Brown. Tests later revealed a season-ending ruptured Achilles.
