@khalidrl@salmanmasood I agree with you. Civilian salaried persons are the main victims. Rest are enjoying their lives and beyond the ‘long arms of the state’.
@MiftahIsmail Real challenge will be to convince the people that they will have to work with you to achieve the vision of a better life. Most of the people in Pakistan believe that they don’t need to change themselves and it is the govt that owes them everything as a matter of their right.
@soulat_pasha Maulana Ubaid ullah Sindhi died in 1944 and till that time there was no exit plan announced by the Britishers nor any plan of partition was approved by them. I doubt Maulana said any such thing. I am not a great admirer of Maulana’s political wisdom.
It's fine, Simon. Don't worry about it. Those kids in Gaza are probably as comfy as you in your KC barrister chambers, and at this moment are no doubt swilling port somewhere over a four course dinner at Lincoln's Inn. And frankly wouldn't it be just typical of those lying, primitive, antisemitic Palestinian kids to make up that they'd been killed when most likely they are just playing truant from school or spraying graffiti somewhere? That's exactly the sort of thing they'd do to deliberately make you feel uncomfortable. And anyway how could any of them be dead when the Most Moral Army in the World has clearly been using pinpoint accuracy to select proven Terrorist Targets and Hamas Control and Command Centres and has been ordered always to prioritise accuracy over damage. Good job we have top lawyers like you using their talents to expose these fake deaths.
The way state is helpless in front of Jatois, Kanjus and Awans of the society, ordinary citizens will have to think how to protect themselves not only from the criminals of the society but also from state institutions who always partner with criminals against law abiding citizens
@mujibshami1 Mujib ur Rehman Shami sahib’s today’s column gives a different perspective of first 11 years of our history post independence than what has been propagated by bureaucracy and military throughout. Politicians didn’t fail the country despite Ghulam Muhammad.
It is not by chance that country always remained in precarious state. It's outcome of total elite capture, lust and constitution of poor governance . Today's OpEd

I am sharing my recent article published in Humsub. The article is about the disrespect shown to people of Pakistan in every walk of life and an apparently utopian solution. Please read and share your feedback

For the protection of honour, dignity and interests of the sacred institutions of Pakistan, there are many laws. How a law abiding citizen should comply with these laws with his pen. Read in my latest article published in Humsub
