Chemmani Mass Grave Excavation – Phase 2, Day 38

Today, 10 more human skeletons were identified.
So far, 197 skeletons have been identified , Out of these, 181 human skeletons have been fully exhumed.

(I was not present at the excavation site today.)

Chemmani Mass Grave – Phase 2, Day 37

Today, 10 more human skeletons were identified, bringing the total to 187 skeletons recovered so far. Out of these, 174 skeletons have been fully exhumed.

Some infant skeletons were also identified today. An artifact a broken bangle was recovered as well.

Notably, skeletons No. 177 and 178 were found buried one beneath the other in a single pit.

Chemmani Mass Grave Exhumation — Phase 2: Day 6

The sixth day of the second phase of the Chemmani mass grave exhumation continued today.

A complete human skeleton, suspected to be that of a young child, was exhumed. The remains were discovered alongside a blue school bag, a Bata brand slipper, and a toy.

Additional human skeletal remains were also identified today. However, due to their complex arrangement, the exact number could not be determined.
As of now, a total of 33 human skeletons have been identified.
