Met a college friend after almost 5 years. He actually looked better than he did in college. We went to a bar and started talking about old friends. After a few drinks he started opening up about the body issues he had been quietly dealing with.

First he said he had skin tags on his neck. Got them removed. Then he had a dark neck for years. Thought it was dirt but It wasn't . The doctor said insulin resistance. Lost weight, controlled sugar… neck became normal.

Next he said he was losing hair, so instead of going for treatment or transplant he just shaved everything and went full மொட்டை.

Then came the teeth story. Years of neglect. Dentist did scaling,cleaning and aligners. Now his teeth are straight.

I was like, “டேய் இதெல்லாம் சகஜம் ஆச்சே. சின்னசின்ன விஷயங்கள் தானே?”

Then he casually said he had gynecomastia(man boobs) surgery.

I was like, “எதே 😳? என்னடா என்னென்னமோலாம் சொல்லுறே? தாடி பாலாஜி காமெடி மாதிரி ஒரு உடம்புக்குள்ள ஒரு கோடி பிரச்சினைகள் சொல்லுறே?”

He smiled and said, “மச்சி, I’m sure everyone has some body problems they hide. Either money issues, embarrassment or just fear. But living with that insecurity for years is worse.”

Anyway… one department was never a problem for him. His sexual life. Man was a காஜி வெறியன் (still is) 😅

Happily married with a beautiful wife and blessed with cute twins💑

Moral of the story:
Most body problems are fixable today.
Main problem: money… and our hesitation.
