ISO PAK was founded by Ayatullah Syed Murtaza Sadar ul Fazil, Molana Agha Ali Mosvi, Molana Safdar Hussain Najfi, Shaheed Doctor Syed Muhammad Ali Naqvi on 22 May 1972 at University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.

Established in 1972, the Imamia Students Organization Pakistan, commonly known as the ‘I.S.O Pakistan’, has been able to establish itself as one of the largest students’ organisations in almost all major universities and colleges in the country.

ISO Paksitan primarily focuses on Islamic led guidance and religious upbringing of students.

As an established organization it has a set of principles and a written constitution to which student members must abide by.

ISO Pakistan regulates itself through an executive council (Majlis Amla) which also acts as its legislative council.

At the divisional level the Organization implements it’s agenda through its Divisions approximately corresponding to the Divisional structure of Pakistan.

The students engage in educational upbringing and development through a set of local and regional activities which are managed and self funded through the organizations large local donor base

Often students engage in self preparatory learning, sports events and organizing mehfil, majlis, dua programs and discussions on youth affairs and current regional and international affairs.

The organization in it’s motto strives to develop it’s base as law abiding Pakistani students who will defend the country’s core ideological base and it’s geographical boundaries.

آئی ایس او پاکستان کے وجود میں آنے کا اصلی ہدف و مقصد نوجوانوں کی تربیت ہے جو کہ اس کے نصب العین سے واضح ہے
آئی ایس او پاکستان نے یہ ضرورت محسوس کی کہ نوجوانوں کی تربیت کرنے کےلئے ایک تربیتی ادارے کو تشکیل دیا جائے

ہدف کے پیش نظر 2009ء -2010ء سیشن کےآخر میں تمام ادارہ جات (مجلس نظارت، مجلس عاملہ، مرکزی مجلس عمومی) نے ایک تربیتی ادارے کی منظوری دے دی۔ اس ادارے کا نام المہدی (عج)ادارہ تربیت رکھا گیا.

قرآن اور سیر ت محمد (ص)و آل محمد ؑ کی حقیقی تعبیر جو کہ خطِ امام خمینیؒ سے موسوم ہے کی روشنی میں امامیہ طلباء کی تربیت کرنا تاکہ وہ معاشرے میں اپنے بابصیرت کردار کے ذریعے امام زمانہ ؑکے ظہور کی عالمی انقلابی نہضت کا ہراول دستہ ثابت ہوسکیں
