Even today, 300 families from that place host Swami and Amman with all enthusiasm during that day when they come there in Palanquin.
Meenakshi temple was built and maintained by such contributions of many Dharmic souls.

Public utilities like DICOMs traditionally had a vigilance department. We, in TP- Odisha DICOMs are committed to enhance value for customers. Strengthening Vigilance Department in all four DISCOMs is effort in in that direction.
Day 2 of our Vigilance workshop at #TPCODL was enriched with insightful sessions, including discussions on discrete and open enquiries, investigation techniques, and the important provisions of the Prevention of Corruption Act. We were honoured to have amongst us Shri. Radhakrishna, SP Odisha State Vigilance and Shri. Jaya Narayan Rana, Retd, SP, CBI. The concluding session was graced by Director General State Vigilance, Shri Yeshwant Kumar Jethwa, IPS and also Shri Arvind Singh, CEO, TPCODL. The DG Vigilance assured all assistance to the Management of TPCODL in matters of vigilance.

Both @nikhilkamathcio and I were among the worst performers in school, but we turned out alright in life. The key was the support of our parents in everything that we attempted.

@TheQuint Rising income inequality is known. Study is inadequate on promotion rural household income spent on enhancing productive capabilities and productivity destroyers. Alcohol consumption in rural areas should be an eye opener. Macro or micro, it is time to study quality of spending.
