@ASI I've never understood why you measure Tax Freedom Day from 1 January and not 6 April.
My first reaction is invariably positive, until I remember that I'll be working for the government for another three months.
@KennyFarq Would it have made any difference at all? We all knew, before the election, that Murrell had been helping himself to SNP funds, and that the SNP had spent the ring-fenced indyref2 monies. The recent confessions by Murrell and Swinney merely confirm what we all knew already.
@EdwardJDavey Even you are bright enough to realize that criticizing the foreseeable outcomes of defective law enforcement practices is not an attack on our democracy. Noone voted for the negligent treatment of Henry Nowak.
@JamesMelville If he'd done that, I'm certain we'd still have voted in a Labour government. We knew a Starmer government would be awful. The principle consideration in 2024 was to punish the Conservatives for what they had done in government from 2019.
@HCH_Hill The 'other' one? This is what Operation Branchform is all about. Peter Murrell's thefts of goodies for him and his wife were an incidental crime uncovered by accident.
@WingsScotland Presumably because they had him bang-to-rights on Branchform-adjacent fraud: he was using an SNP credit card to buy stuff for him and the missus, and faking invoices. We live in hope that Sturgeon et al will eventually be charged over the misappropriation of the indyref2 fund.
@LeeHarris@ShabanaMahmood We Scots are permitted to carry a sgian dubh as part of our traditional (i.e. Victorian) Highland dress.
And Digwa murdered Henry Nowak with a shastar, not his kirpan, which he wore under his clothing as is traditional Sikh practice. He had no legal right to carry a shastar.
@MrHrandomnumber@Telegraph@Alan_Cochrane Their lavender marriage began over 15 years ago. It's unlikely that she would have maintained a single lesbian relationship for that length of time.
