The fact that the new Honor Robot Phone is priced starting from less than $1,500 in China is very pleasant surprise to me.
What's even more surprising is that the 1TB model is priced THE EXACT SAME as the base model Galaxy Z Fold8 in China (RMB12,999/$1927).
I was expecting it to be priced at around $2,000 for the base model.
Honor did a great job with this phone, and I can't wait to see how it works in person if I have the chance.
They still don’t have the premium brand image like Apple and Samsung, that's why people are hesitating about Android flagships.
Also these brands spend more money on promoting their midrange than flagships, most people don’t even know about their flagships and not everyone is aware of chipset, camera, algorithm, animation etc.
Still can't believe many people hesitating for paying premium to Oppo. They have done so much improvement in Software and stands at the top. Hardware was always class apart.
What's do you think?? Why people don't wanna pay premium ??
Didn’t the tech twitter said iQoo is the main of vivo's growth in India? Lol.
Tech twitter is right about suggesting great phones, but they're horribly wrong when they talk about sales and success.

the thing is most smartphone sales are still brand image driven, general consumers things better brand image means better products. Also smartphone specifications are too complicated to understand for General consumers.I bought 15T Pro at 3000rial(also due to 12months 0% installment) and some of my colleagues said "you could buy iPhone 16 at this price"
Most Saudi people use either latest iPhone 17 pro max or old gen(haven’t seen a single iPhone 17 user) cause they have money and like to show off a lot.
But I've seen few Xiaomi 17U users despite having no marketing in offline.
@MicrosoftvApple@danielfgom Better entry level phones aren't available in most countries and sometimes their prices are same as old gen iphone,so people upgrade iPhone instead of android.
Most android flagships aren't available offline in most countries. For example, Xiaomi 17 series aren't available at offline market in Saudi Arabia's Asir region, not even their T series. People have to buy from online.
I ordered 15T Pro from Xiaomi online store and the phone came from Riyadh. But every offline shop has iphone 17 pro max available, even iphone Air
Xiaomi is testing a new 200MP 1 inch solution powered by LOFIC. However what's intresting is that it's not a traditional 4:3 aspect ratio sensor which is currently on most smartphones. 👀
@TechWhirlUlt They're discontinuing cause people aren’t buying, simple. Also Xiaomi flagship sales in India isn’t great,I'm pretty sure they're still in stock cause of earlier stock is still not finished.
Being a wife and mother is MORE ambitious and impactful than having a career. We should be telling young women to get a husband instead of a degree. Do you agree?
Those who says UW camera is useless(mostly for camera phone) actually don’t know about camera and lens
This photo was taken with an UW lens (12mp 1/3.04" sensor,15mm lens and a aperture f/2.2 with 120° fov)at night.if the sensor was bigger the quality would be so great, but unfortunately brands are neglecting UW as if it’s just for show.
You can't take photo like this with telephoto
@ayush_tomar8@NalinisKitchen Chef doesn’t buy groceries, restaurant owner does. That's not the point, the point is basic learning, man should also know how to cook.
@MicrosoftvApple Their manufacturing cost was literally similar, what are you talking about? And yes,a 120hz display can be cheaper than a 60hz display based on quality, vendor and making process.
Xiaomi 15t pro has 144hz display while their Ultra has 120hz,does that make 15t pro's display expen?
This is beyond creepy. I don’t care if she’s his daughter this level of physical affection makes me uncomfortable. Everyone sees things differently, but this doesn’t sit right with me
@MicrosoftvApple IPhone 15 and Xiaomi 14 almost had similar manufacturing cost and iPhone 15 price in Europe was lower than Xiaomi.
And currently all brands have higher profit margin than their own midrange.
And a 60hz display can be costlier than a 120hz display, same with sensor based on
