@j0hndayt0n I have watched a few interviews with leading mathematicians and they don’t know how the AI got to the solutions. Just that they are correct. So they/we don’t understand. It follows systems will surpass our understanding if the goal is more efficient or aligned with economics.

It hit home something that’s sort of obvious but is clearer to me now. We will no longer be able to understand the present. We can control it I guess. For a while. But we won’t keep up.

I think the next 10 years are going to be the wildest time in human history in that we will change at a pace not seen before. I think it’s sad tbh. In that my own and only reference point is what has been before. Something soon to no longer exist except in story.

It follows being smart, or hard working, or efficient is old technology for humans. In the same way being strong was the valuable metric pre organized society. Knowledge is not enough against much more knowledgeable compute. So what’s the skill? Is it just capital? Adaptability?

Maybe we can aim the thing. As in ‘please work towards these values’. But I assume the people who input what those values are, are the ones with the biggest financial stake in its capitalistic success. And what I find to be the most dystopian outlook on what the point of life is.

When we started responding to Russia’s operation against our data centers, and when our strikes reached Yandex’s data centers, it suddenly became a little easier to breathe on many social media platforms. A lot of people noticed it. There was less hate, less division, and fewer provocations.

Because there were fewer bots. And it’s pretty clear where those bots were coming from – if they disappeared when Yandex went offline. This proves, again and again, that Europe is not the source of the problems. Europe is not the one making everything more difficult.

Most importantly, we need people in America, every morning, when the day in Europe is already moving toward evening, to really see what is happening. To see the truth.
