In other states, it is the police which is tasked with the job of ensuring free and fair election, which includes checking illegal movement of cash and liquor, which could be used to influence voters. In West Bengal, however, it is the other way around.

Today, BJP MP @me_locket intercepted a WB Police vehicle, which was ferrying large quantity of unaccounted liquor. On questioning they couldn't provide proper explanation.

It goes without saying that liquor was being transported at the behest of ruling TMC.
