Here are 7 prompts to get fit without the gym bro science:
How can Carrick fix this? ⬇️
🎯 Stick to playing fresh, true wingers like Dorgu, Lacey and Amad almost exclusively on the left and right.
🎯Play Mbeumo as an option through the middle and when he plays, make sure the midfield line and Mbeumo are close together.
🎯 Play Cunha as Bruno’s backup, but actually bench Bruno on occasion to reinforce earning a position
🎯Use Rashford exclusively as a super sub and don’t bow down to any pressure from board or fans to play him until he is absolutely unplayable and earns it
🎯Play Yoro at right back and begin to develop him more consistently, while allowing him to have the sideline as safety. Let him make mistakes that lead to less harsh chances against, which would be the case at center back.
🎯Play Baleba immediately when fit.
🎯 Bench Luke Shaw for Amass or Dorgu and the immediately bench him for the new signing as well.
🎯Demand the board get money for Zirkzee and get that comfortable attitude out of the locker room. Keep him out of the match day squad for even JJ Gabriel if he’s just there to fill numbers
🎯 Tactically, Either invert a fullback or drop the striker into midfield more consistently , because the cats out the bag on how light weight we are if you just swamp our midfield with 4. Playing against a 3-4-3 will be our weakness and coaches who use positional flexibility, will line up that way against us.🩸#MUFC

Man Utd need to sign:
- DM with technical qualities Carrick likes but also has legs to cover ground
- Attacking minded left back that can overlap
- Athletic CB that can stay fit and add pace
- Back up striker to take pressure of Sesko
I really like our squad but I'm not naive in either sense. It would be stupid to settle for what we have but equally as nonsensical to bring in ill-fitting/sub-standard players just to make the numbers up.
And this recruitment team has earned my trust to believe we'll do that.
10 — Fernandes, Mount, Cunha, Tielemans
LW — Cunha, Rashford, Dorgu, Mount/Fernandes
RW — Mbeumo, Amad, Dorgu, Cunha/Rashford
ST — Sesko, Cunha, Rashford, Mbeumo
Really, really like the dynamics of that senior group especially with the supplementation of elite youth prospects.
#mufc have knocked back a string of enquiries for Mason Mount this summer. Michael Carrick is determined to help the midfielder rediscover his best form at Old Trafford [@GraemeBailey]
Tielemans did so well at Villa because he had the legs of Onana and Kamara behind him to let him do his thing.
Really important Man Utd sign an OOP monster midfielder. Baleba does make a lot of sense now.
Heart disease is the #1 killer of humanity (especially if you're over 40).
It silently starts with inflammation, insulin resistance and low nitric oxide.

If you could do exactly what you want to do, without limitations or restrictions, what would it be?
In other words — what would you rather do than eat?
This is the question Harold Saxton Burr — professor of Anatomy at Yale School of Medicine, who spent 40 years measuring the electrical field that organizes living tissue — considered the most reliable clue to the job a person was actually best fitted to perform.
Not what pays well.
Not what looks good on a résumé.
Discover that, Burr argued, and you become an active, successful cooperator with the Designer.
He covered why in his book, The Nature of Man and the Meaning of Existence, published in 1962.
He starts with the nervous system.
Your brain's core architecture is fixed before you ever get a say in it.
You don't add neurons.
You don't rewire that basic structure just by wanting to.
But inside that fixed wiring, what you can become is vast.
Yet, not unlimited.
Burr was specific about that.
Practice alone doesn't create an interest that isn't already there.
Artists, musicians, mathematicians are born, and then made through disciplined practice of the neural nets already inherent in them.
Burr: “If your neural organization is such that you have no interest in music, no amount of practice will make you a musician.“
But wherever a driving interest already exists in a person's particular combination of neurons, he argued there's almost no limit to where it can go.
That's why the question matters.
What you'd rather do than eat isn't just a preference.
It's a signal.
It's coming from wiring that was decided before you had any say in it.
Our job is to discover what we were uniquely built to do.
Burr didn't think people create their purpose.
He thought they discover it.
Same as everything humans have ever built — uncovered from laws nature already established, not created from nothing.
Burr believed discovering that pull made you an active, working partner alongside God — the same way understanding a law of physics doesn't invent that law, it just uncovers what was already built into the design.
Burr: "As designed instruments of God, therefore, it behooves us to know ourselves; to discover, through our interests, our abilities and then to get at them, for we are working partners in a scheme that staggers our imagination.”
He also believed the meaning behind existence can't be fully denied, but it can never be finally defined either.
Defining it completely would take infinite knowledge.
Every fact science validates, every unsuspected relationship the mind glimpses, every new beauty seen or heard, draws us slightly closer to understanding without ever completing it.
None of it ever finishes the picture.
Existence, in this framing, is an exciting journey — an adventure into the unknown, not a solved equation.
And like all adventures, a goal is required — even one you can't fully see yet.
Burr:
"The explorer traversing the ice to the South Pole, or the climber seeking the top of the highest mountain, cannot define the objective in detail.
He believes that such things exist, but his knowledge is limited.
Making use of a background of past information, and recruiting imagination and understanding, he pushes on toward the unknown."
Discovering your purpose works the same way.
You don't get the whole map before you start moving toward it.
We gather as many facts as we can, glimpse new relationships, and through greater understanding move slowly and hesitantly toward greater harmony with the Universe.
Burr asked another question here, too.
If the Designer is truly all-powerful, why wasn't the universe simply built perfect from the start?
His answer: a perfectly designed, already-finished Universe would be static, frozen, dogmatic — completely uninteresting to inhabit.
No problems left to solve.
According to Burr, nobody wants that. Not the Designer. Not us.
Since every brain is uniquely different, Burr concluded there cannot be one meaning to existence.
The meanings are as varied as the brains seeking them.
What is adequate meaning for one person may mean nothing to another.
Each brain has to find its own.
For Burr, this wasn't merely a philosophical conclusion.
It was something he believed his laboratory measurements reflected.
While you cannot measure an "unhappy marriage" on a dial, his team did measure emotions like grief causing massive millivolt spikes in the body's electrical field.
Burr used "business worries or an unhappy marriage" as classic examples of how a distressed mind alters the L-field, which then physically damages the body—such as producing an ulcer or a headache.
Burr:
“Business worries or an unhappy marriage are often the real cause of, say, headaches or ulcers. Since L-field voltages reveal both physical and mental conditions they can offer doctors a new insight into the state of both body and mind.”
Whether or not you admit the misalignment to yourself.
The voltmeter moves regardless.
Purpose, in his model, is not just psychological.
For Burr, the business of living was this:
Continually enlarge your understanding of the specific design you were handed — and build your life around it.
Not around what everyone else was handed.
It will demand sacrifice.
Some things will have to be endured so more important things can be accomplished.
Each of us has to cross that valley alone.
And yet, in Burr's words, not alone.
Because as designed parts of the whole, we are vital and important tools of God.
A Harvard biochemist once said:
“High cortisol cuts 7 years off your life, tanks libido, destroys your sleep, increases body fat and literally melts your brain.”
This is the 7 science-backed protocol to lower it naturally:
1. Cold exposure (3x/week)
Biology doesn't work in days.
It works in weeks and months.
Most people try something for 3-5 days, notice nothing, and quit.
But they quit exactly when the biology was just getting started.
A few examples from my own research:
1) DHA and seafood
You start eating oysters and sardines.
One week in — nothing noticeable.
But your body is already incorporating DHA into cell membranes.
Your omega-3 to omega-6 ratio is shifting.
That shift takes weeks to months to show up as cognitive clarity, improved sleep and reduced inflammation.
2) Grounding
If you've spent years wearing rubber-soled shoes — your body's electron reservoir is depleted.
Gaétan Chevalier's research:
If a person has been completely ungrounded for years, it takes approximately 2-3 months of regular grounding to fully "recharge" the body's internal electron battery to its highest optimal level.
One or two days barefoot and you feel nothing.
Two months in and the battery is full.
3) Midday sunlight and testosterone
The UVB study showed chronic daily exposure — not acute single doses — produced significant hormonal effects.
One large single dose had weaker effects.
Daily 20-30 minutes over weeks is what moves the needle.
4) Dopamine receptor recovery
Remove the stimulus — whether it's porn, social media, or any high-dopamine input.
The first 2-4 days you feel awful.
Withdrawal is real.
Dopamine receptors begin recovering around day 7-14.
A meaningful reboot takes at least 30 days.
The same logic runs in reverse.
5) Cancer
It takes 4-5 years for a single cell to become a tumor 0.5-1 cm in size — the minimum detectable by current technology.
You can't reverse that in a week.
Chronic conditions don't appear overnight.
They won't resolve overnight either.
We live in an instant gratification world.
But biology operates on its own timescale — and it doesn't care about your impatience.
The intervention didn't fail.
You just quit before the biology had time to respond.
