@RubioSoccer35@Daledynamo30 JJ has quick feet man! Always in motion and you love to see that.
Ben would NEVER start a striker not named Ponce unfortunately :(
💯
I love the open cup, but the opportunity for a cupset means so much more to a usl fanbase. Give them homefield advantage every single time. Give their fans an opportunity to witness a huge win. Make it hard for MLS teams.
All Open Cup matches should be played at lower division stadiums !
Bigger happening, better attendance, better performances and chance to grow it.
More emotion and passion led by the lower division teams who will turn out mid-week.
#SoccerMatters
@kylebrass27 I get that and know it’s unavoidable in some instances, but would still love to give lower level teams every chance to host, even if at an alternative venue.
@TheFalseNineTX@cream_my_cheese Issue is that you also should be quiet about teams relocating since it took an entire nationwide savethecrew movement to stop that from happening to Cbus after an active and premeditated plan from your owner to move the crew to avoid the expansion team fee.
But 👍🏻
Mhmmm. We could just go sign washed out high school linebacker if we want to start a physical player at striker regardless of if they are good at soccer 🤷♂️
Houston Dynamo head coach Ben Olsen speaking next. Says Lingr, Ponce, and Markanich give them different options up front. Said Lingr does a little bit of everything, Ponce is more physical, Markanich is probably the best finisher of the three.
@ThirdCoastTom agree that most prospects don’t make it. Femi’a a rough example bc he may have been a rookie but he was also 24 last year and wasn’t an academy product.
I’d say “they aren’t playing; they must not be ready” but it’s really hard to trust our coach’s judgement of that these days
@RubioSoccer35 I don’t even think his hold up play was good last night. I feel like every time I watch him, it’s his worst game ever. Might just be that his performances are all so forgettable I blissfully can’t remember how bad he was a week ago.
