@MisterCiv Custom stemming shouldn’t bust zones, you shouldn’t be able to throw 20 yard comebacks, if I set my option keys idk why an RPO read breaks a man that’s idiotic if I gave him set to play pass
@MatzeB92@ZachHicks2 No, but wins are a stat when he was out there we had a winning record. Kinda like Tebow, I don’t care how it looks as long as we’re winning.
@ZachHicks2 Asinine to be completely done with a 24 year old who has a winning record as a starter. Can’t wait for Jones to flop this year and Steichen and Ballard to both be out.
2026: 35-3 (17-1)
2025: 35-4 (19-1)
70-7 (36-2) over two seasons for Duke. Two generational seasons with two generational NPOYs.
Coach K lost in the Final Four or National Championship in 1986, 1988, 1989, and 1990, before breaking through. That’s life.
@dsleon45 I’m convinced you being let go by Indy hurt that culture more than we will ever realize. Even when injured you were the heart and soul of that defense.
The Chris Ballard era in Indy:
• First team to be 6 games above .500 and finish with a losing record (2025)
• Two seasons with a 95% chance of making the playoffs and failing to do so (2021, 2025)
• Largest blown lead in NFL history — 33 points (2022)
@derek_larger Pierce, that’s it. I’m fine with bringing Jones back on a very cheap deal, we saw how much his game relied on mobility when the fibula popped up, I can’t imagine he moves great next year with the Achilles.
Shane Steichen is 8-7 with 23 year old Anthony Richardson.
Shane Steichen is 18-17 with everybody else. *Combined age 142 years old.*
Instead of developing a talent and going through the kinks.
Shane chose .500 his way.
AR was never the problem.
@RomeovilleKid In a theoretical world if AR becomes healthy for the 49ers game, Leonard healthy too, and Rivers as well, who would get the nod on gameday? I’m fully aware AR’s season is likely over.
@RomeovilleKid You don’t think AR could have had us sitting at 8-5? I find it hard to believe with him at 8-7 as a starter we don’t have a very similar record. Is his completion percentage garbage yep, but he has found a way to win. In 24 we heard Flacco and he went 2-4 with them, AR was 6-5.
Kind of like the Colts, they were 8-2 up 20-9 on the Chiefs in the 4th quarter and then.......3 losses. Sauce Gardner gets hurt, Ashton Dulin, Mooney Ward, Daniel Jones tears Achillies, Riley Leonard, Alec Pierce, Braden Smith......you get the idea. And now, we bringing in Grampa Rivers who hasn't played in 5 years. There should be a movie made about this shit.
