it's interesting how boiler room, TikTok, Instagram reels has changed how people dj. The short format warps what happens in real life. There's beauty in playing dj sets that are 2+ hours long that gets lost in translation.
Lets check festival lineups!

Ppl have commented on how unsettling “meet the grahams” is. It’s haunting.. hard to watch like a horror film, but not the fun kind.. the kind that points to true horror in real life. A deconstruction of a man but also feels like a commentary on the world we are living in. It feels bad to listen to because what he’s talking about isn’t so much about his enemy but the ideologies of our time. Whether you agree with that or not.. it’s a compelling piece of art, I think it is part of the battle not only artists are facing but people in general.. which makes it feel all the more personal
@ashotofbaileys I am relaxed.. you asked for opinions. I get that it’s an issue, but it also doesn’t take that long to do a little research. And as contractors, I feel like that responsibility ultimately falls on us.
@ashotofbaileys If you want other artists to take you seriously I would take it down.
Also, if this has happened multiple times, you are doing zero due diligence.
Is the aesthetic now:
a) the designer is too lazy / doesnt notice to photoshop out the fucked AI text
b) the designer kept the fucked up AI text bc its based
c) image was prompted by management / artist via mj, none of them can even use photoshop, a designer was not involved
Can’t help but think how School of Rock didn’t have a band photographer. They got a manager, security, a stylist even, but nobody with a camera to document the process. They played Battle of the Bands and didn’t even walk away with a 15 second recap video. So unfortunate
