Hilarious how the PA GOP forcibly cleared their primary field for a candidate who’s down *24 points*
Garrity may very well lose by more than 2022 Doug Mastriano, who they iced out of the 2026 endorsement process

PA’s Commonwealth Court just struck down the state ban on Medicaid coverage for abortion care.
As I said when I ran for Attorney General. this unconstitutional ban determines a woman's ability to access reproductive care by her income & I’m glad the court struck it down!
John Morgan has done more for Floridians than most Governors ever did with his constitutional amendments raising the minimum wage and legalizing medicinal marijuana — nothing but love and respect for my old boss!
PA-10: healthy net Dem registration gains in Dauphin, York, and Cumberland
PA-1: big Dem gain in Bucks, some of those MontCo gains are in district
PA-7: huge net gains in Lehigh and Northampton
PA-8: modest net gains in Lackawanna and Wayne
Indeed Dems gained more registrants than GOP this month in fully 32 of Pennsylvania's 67 counties. Look at tiny Bedford go!

Pennsylvania Democrats have been laser-focused on renewing Democratic voter registration efforts under the leadership of newly-elected Chair @DePasqualePA.
This is now 6 straight months of beating the Republicans!
In SP&R's latest Pa poll, inc. Gov. Shapiro holds a commanding lead over GOP presumptive nominee S. Garrity. Four years ago, Shapiro easily defeated state Sen. Mastriano by 15+ points.

New @QuinnipiacPoll finds Gov. Josh Shapiro leads Republican candidate Stacy Garrity 55 - 37.
Also finds that only 39% of PA voters approve of Donald Trump's handling of the economy, while 56% disapprove.
Would Josh Shapiro make a good president? #Pennsylvania voters are divided; Voters do agree on this: ban cellphones in K–12 schools https://t.co/Tg84BYAjg1

The most interesting crosstab in this new Emerson poll heading into Gov. Shapiro's re-election?
Less than half of 2024 Trump voters even think Shapiro's doing a bad job — indeed over 25% of Trump voters willingly say they strongly approve / approve of Shapiro's job performance!

MAGA grifter Scott Presler claims his Amish voter registration efforts "delivered" PA for Trump.
This analysis shows that in Lancaster just "488 new Amish voters were registered in 2024 prior to the election" and Amish "voter turnout ended up being lower than the 2020 election."
Ultimately, the findings from Elizabethtown College researchers push back against the narrative that Lancaster's Amish “delivered” the 2024 election to Donald Trump.

Update: “Unfettered” sold ~2,600 copies during its first week, according to data I obtained from a source who requested anonymity. That ranks No. 19 in the adult autobiographies category, two spots behind Chris Matthews’ RFK hagiography. Not what you want, numbers-wise
Interestingly this is the second recent case where one of the forged signatures was a Judge, leading to deeper scrutiny and criminal charges.
(see Steve Irwin’s 2022 campaign)
A Democratic campaign manager was charged in Chester County for allegedly filing fake signatures in the 2024 auditor general primary.
Mariel J.K. Martin, of Philadelphia, was the campaign manager for Lehigh County Controller Mark Pinsley’s campaign. https://t.co/m04sN7Vcty
Rep. Lloyd "Snowflake" Smucker (PA-11) is suing his local newspaper LNP | LancasterOnline for defamation because they said he is lying to his constituents.
One of the lawyers representing Smucker is Trump's former acting USCIS director, Ken Cuccinelli.

With 5 recent resignations in the PA House of Representatives, the below seats will be up for grabs in special elections in a chamber where Dems held a 1-seat advantage prior to the resignations.
(We're likely right back at a 1-seat majority, but we've seen some stunners!)
INBOX: State Rep. Seth Grove (R., York), has resigned. He did not give a reason. A wonky conservative known for shepherding a failed election law push in 2021, he had taken a side job as head of the state's concrete trade association while still sitting in office.
Some Dems still not happy with Schumer/DSCC strategy in competitive primaries
Heinrich: “The sort of formula for what’s been successful in the past may not apply right now ... we need to make it very f*cking clear that we’re on the side of average working Americans"
Warren: "Too much interest in candidates who will go along to get along with wealthy donors"
Schumer says he'll be vindicated in the fall: “People can disagree with that, but we’re pursuing the path that we think wins us the Senate"
With incumbent GOP Rep. Delozier retiring, PA HD-88 is now firmly up for grabs in 2026.
Here are PA HD-88's 2024 performance numbers:
Presidential: 19,109 Trump / 18,766 Harris
Senate: 18,695 McCormick / 18,329 Casey
State House: 20,882 Delozier / 16,983 Agerton
State Rep. Sheryl Delozier on Tuesday announced she will not seek reelection for her House seat in the 88th Legislative District. https://t.co/LdvAFa9wMe
