Congratulations to Dr. Pouya Aghajafari and his dedicated team at Baptist Health Boca Raton Regional Hospital on successfully performing his first AVENTUS case.

A complex case involving pulmonary embolism, clot in transit, and a thrombosed IVC filter ultimately required a shift to an IJ approach. Once access was established, AVENTUS successfully extracted the clot in transit with a single aspiration before continuing into the pulmonary arteries.

An outstanding result for a challenging case and a first time AVENTUS user.

Congratulations to Dr. Nick Brewer for successfully using the new VenaCore #thrombectomy catheter in a challenging venous occlusion case. Patient with Hx of #DVT presented to the ED with swollen left lower extremity and phlegmasia.

The single-session treatment involved #ClotTriever BOLD for DVT and #VenaCore for residual venous obstruction.
