BASEBALL COACHES: Pitching Documents
I have taken a few documents + my own to create a pitch tracking system. This tracks in game stats: strike %, FPS %, % of each pitch including every count & more. If you have interest RT this & I will reach out on how to access this. Preview⬇️
@CoachHilts Love that. I so often see complaints about players not having any feel or instincts, yet there’s rarely space given to develop that with the way practice time is structured
@hamlingj@PitchingCoachU If something works against a good hitter it’ll work against a bad one too. I do think most pitchers in HS are better served developing a second breaking pitch than a CH though
*BASEBALL COACHES AND PLAYERS*
I have created a Google Drive with videos of 200+ MLB and Former NCAA hitters from different angles. If you have interest in something like this, hit the RT and I will reach out on how to access it. Preview ⬇️⬇️⬇️
@MrMaxPrice@BeaverBaseball@OregonBaseball Love it. Done it for 3 years and only regret so far is not doing it sooner. Definitely seems to help Ps get into rhythm better and work faster
@SyJones21 @sebbaseballss I’m curious about why you think this is the case today. I don’t disagree, I just think it’s worth looking more into the underlying causes of this than just complaining about it
@RadioFreeTom Thank you for this article. As someone born 14 months after the fall of the USSR I’ve only known the world of your second half. I’ve found myself nervous about the patterns of our global direction in an unfamiliar way this past year
The overhead windup is a great and simple way to improve timing and rhythm in the pitching delivery. I remember hearing at a team camp 14 years ago that 95% of HOF pitchers used it, which always made me wonder why it fell out of common use
