Cool story.

In 2018, our church went through a terrible church fire. I lost my entire library and all of my preaching Bibles except one that I had at home. It was such a tough time for me personally because of the personal loss but also watching our church go through that tough time as well.

One day not long after the fire, I was at the church and a UPS guy knocked on our door and said he had a big delivery of boxes for the Pastor.
I was curious as to what these boxes were so I opened a box and began pulling out these books from Dr. Charles Stanley.

In one of the books was a letter of encouragement addressed to me from Dr. Stanley. He said he had heard of the church fire and that I had lost my entire library. He wanted to send me all of his books and express his love.
I will never forget that act of kindness from such a great man.
