❗️The outcome of the war in Ukraine will determine how the geopolitical map of the world will look in the coming decades.
◾️ If Ukraine wins and international law is restored, the world will be able to live in accordance with democratic values.
◾️ If Ukraine loses and loses its statehood, Russia will become a hegemon in Europe, and the United States and China will divide zones of influence.
◾️ If the war becomes protracted and lasts for many years, both the West and Russia will be exhausted, and the world will become bipolar, with the United States and China dividing zones of influence.
Democratic and civilized countries, which we call the West, have a direct interest in Ukraine's quick victory because it means a stable and peaceful life for them as well.
I fear worse - we won’t leave and Boris won’t be blamed. He may have reached a new zen level of politics where he is loved for promising what he could never deliver and loved more for failing. What his opponents see as untruths his supporters forgive as statesmanlike optimism.
