Is the juice worth the squeeze?

[Jake Simons @Jake_Simons]

@_AlexGookin I had a hunch early on, but 6 weeks in now it seems pretty clear to me he just doesn’t like to get hit. Constantly doing what he can to avoid contact even if it means fewer yards. In the open field he cuts up just to dive down, rarely keeps on zone reads, etc. Soft?

[Jake Simons @Jake_Simons]

@ChrisMWilliams I gotta watch fun defense and bad offense on Saturdays and Sundays now with ISU and Vikes 😂

[Jake Simons @Jake_Simons]

@ChrisMWilliams Plus playcalling is super bland and predictable on offense. Is Roehl familiar with play action?? 4th game in, and it seems so underutilized in this scheme. 2nd & 10 -> short run -> incomplete short of the sticks on 3rd and long -> punt. It’s so predictable

[Jake Simons @Jake_Simons]

@MatthiasISU Overall impressed with the effort - especially the defense, but man that offense really shelled up in that 2nd half, and didn’t play to win. Did they try to go downfield once in that 2nd half??

@CycloneFB @CycloneATH I spy the hot air balloon again 👀

@JoRy_MaMa @BadgerOfHonorFS Wild take. The Otz - Wisconsin, specifically Milwaukee area, pipeline runs deep. Way back to when he was an assistant under McDermott and Hoiberg. He’s been pulling kids out of WI to ISU for well over a decade. Last yr again - #1 WI prospect in Batemon

The Big Citrus 🍊

The #Vikings have drafted @OrangeDomonique.

[Jake Simons @Jake_Simons]

@vikingzfanpage A lot of those winning reps against 2nd rounder Logan Jones too. Big Citrus gonna be a great addition to that DL!! 🌪️

[Jake Simons @Jake_Simons]

@TheRickWebster The irony in this post is deafening 😂

[Jake Simons @Jake_Simons]

@iowahoopsweb Ps - I was old enough to watch that elite 8 game, and it was brutal 😒. Sent Izzo’s career into orbit. Still partly wonder if not for those calls, and maybe fewer natty lights..if that isn’t Eustachy’s career still at ISU

[Jake Simons @Jake_Simons]

@iowahoopsweb Everyone outside of Iowa City understands the reality of the situation, and waiting for the follow up. Not saying they won’t, but just saying that’s why they aren’t in these polls. You shouldn’t feel slighted. You seem a bit fragile though..

[Jake Simons @Jake_Simons]

@IowaProdz @Williamscy11 @Hyperjack13 😂 backed off is a really nice way of saying they were told no thanks, and looked elsewhere. Would love to see these multiple reports from someone that’s not a fan account in denial

[Jake Simons @Jake_Simons]

@CycloneKingdom No clue where he’s at stats wise compared to these others, but I loved Michael Nurse growing up. The Tinsley, Nurse, and Kantrail Horton guard trio was so fun to watch

[Jake Simons @Jake_Simons]

@IowaProdz @HawkeyeBBFan Wanting and getting are two different things. Were Iowa folks not reporting Glass had a visit scheduled for Iowa this weekend?? Didn’t make it there because he chose Vandy over Iowa. McCollum pivots to this guy. Pretty simple to follow really. It’s ok to admit he missed on Glass
