@lewisdufc01@The_Forty_Four The fact you followed up your question with a statement saying that you felt the country was dying on its feet implied that your question was rhetorical.
And if you genuinely didn’t know, you could have just googled it, but I guess that’s too hard these days.
@BenForster90@Liam_Holman99 He failed in leadership bids 11/16 yrs ago and in that time since has successfully transformed a city region. Don’t think those bids are particular relevant now but if you want to nitpick for the sake of it, then go ahead.
@BenForster90@Liam_Holman99 I don’t disagree. The point is that we were heading that way and we needed to change. We’ve got someone who is objectively popular and a proven success in a huge city region. That’s a good start.
@lewisdufc01@The_Forty_Four They are allowed, just not to put them on lampposts, which is reasonable.
Try fact-checking things in the future if they sound absurd.
@BenForster90@Liam_Holman99 lol the population of Greater Manchester is bigger than NI and the same as Wales.
In any event, I don’t know what more evidence you’d need to qualify you as being in a position to potentially make change as leader? It might not be the same but it’s clearly a fucking start
@leftrestoration@ADZanderWest Or he could govern for everyone..? No one demographic or group owns the Labour Party. The metropolitan voters you clearly look down on are a core base of the Labour vote and always have been.
@BenInRushcliffe Why would he need a leadership election? He’s clearly failed, hence why we’re in this position.
I swear to god Andy needs to come in and remove all the empty centrist vessels that have damaged this party, potentially beyond repair. Your time’s up.
“And you don’t like seeing brown faces on TV”
Thangam Debbonaire just spectacularly lost her shit and absolutely battered the living daylights out of Sarah Pochin live on SkyNews (despite England winning their World Cup game against Croatia).
@Citizenuk1927@SamCoatesSky 1) it wasn’t remotely close. You were trounced.
2) Makerfield isn’t Manchester
3) Makerfield was one of Reform’s top targets. And still got trounced 🤭
