Scorsese's storyboards for Taxi Driver were a big inspiration for me, a poor artist, to feel confident drawing ideas to share with our illustrators. I can't understand why so much of the older generation of artists are swayed by this crap when they already had it all figured out.

@Jumboiiii It's funny - in my mind, real promotional art can only come from a real illustrator, which I couldn't POSSIBLY be no matter how much I improve lmao. I similarly hesitate to call myself a writer, but have no problem calling myself a musician.

Unsurprisingly, I loved Paranormasight: The Mermaid's Curse. Great cast, and it uses its gameplay mechanics very tastefully to serve the story. Getting the true ending drove me insane, but it's up there with some of my favorite ADVs 😮 Was inspired to try sketching Sato 🐢

Very appealing character design! Trying to get more comfortable with exaggerating poses without veering into anything anatomically busted. Still think I'm a little too timid about folds in clothes, too. But overall, very happy with this! The practice is paying off 😤
