Watched #Peddi yesterday. Typical over the top action, stretched by atleast 20 min. @AlwaysRamCharan is superb. No Hindi hero can match his physique & acting too. Utlimate message is good. Is it possible that a village may be unrecognised, unreached today in Bharat? My wife asked sceptically. Today it may not be true. But, I remembered a story of 1970s that an ex-RSS prachaarak Seshachalam ji had told me a story of 1970s from Andhra Pradesh, He and his senior prachaarak went to a village deep in a tribal area. After some time the chief of the village came to them with a few of his other colleagues offering them baskets full of fruits and forest produce. He said apologetically, "Sarkar, no one came to our village for years. We did not pay our taxes and offerings to the sahebs. I apologise. Please accept these gifts and forgive us." He had no clue that Bharat had become free or who was the PM or CM!!
