Arsenal winning the league was actually a mental health intervention.
Banter doesn’t hit the same anymore.
I just laugh and scroll on 🤣
Thank you, Mikel Arteta ❤️
Breaking: A Kenyan court has ruled that the offence of "careless driving" no longer exists under current law.
In a landmark judgment, the High Court quashed the conviction of Daniel Mwangi Munyaka, ordered a refund of the KSh 200,000 fine he had paid, and declared the entire trial a nullity after finding he had been charged under an offence that was removed from the Traffic Act years ago.
The bigger question is this: if the law was amended in 2012, how many Kenyans have since been charged, convicted, fined, or coerced into paying penalties for an offence that no longer existed in law?
This is not just about one driver getting his money back. It raises serious concerns about prosecutions, charge sheets, legal oversight, and the administration of justice over the last decade.
For anyone convicted under "careless driving" in recent years, this ruling could have far-reaching implications.
@Symply_rhoda1 Yea!!! Sometimes the hardest truth is that good people can do terrible things, and terrible mistakes don’t always erase a lifetime of love
Ultra High Net Worth Individuals (UHNWI) do own yachts for tax reasons, but not because they are a modern replacement for palaces.
Most of the world runs residency-based taxation. As in, if you stay over 183 days somewhere you become a taxable base. The US is the outlier, as it taxes you regardless of where you live, based on citizenship.
That difference produces two entirely distinct wealth architectures.
European UHNWI have a structural incentive to stay mobile. Not being in one place too long is itself a tax strategy. Yachts happen to serve that lifestyle perfectly - flag-registered in favourable jurisdictions, moving between anchorages, never accumulating residency days (and benefiting from things like Cypriot 2 month stay non-dom status). The tax regime does not cause yacht ownership, but it makes yachts a remarkably efficient asset class for people whose wealth depends on being nowhere in particular.
This is why European UHNWI do a yearly circuit - Wimbledon one week, Cannes another, the WEF, the Biennale. The social calendar is not separate from the tax strategy. They are the same thing. This also mirrors the itinerant courts of the past, where the aristocracy would move around from one part of the kingdom to another throughout the year, according to king's mood.
American UHNWI face the opposite constraint. Citizenship-based taxation means mobility cannot solve the problem. So they optimise differently - dynasty trusts, LLCs, state domicile arbitrage. They are not less sophisticated. The same economic incentive just produces a completely different behavioural output when the underlying regime changes.
This house will cost you from 34m to 40m if you also need landscaping works done.
The biggest question you might be having is who has that kind of money as if hamjaona one mikora ako na taxes zenu hard cash to a tune of 250m kshs. That’s a whole mega jackpot.
Though that doesn’t mean that anybody with that kind of money has to be a thief or is a thief. For instance mimi hapa am planning to build myself such after like 30 years of pure hardwork. My work will be driving across the world and admiring my works.
Fantasies aside what you see here is a normal house but with clay bricks cladding and beautiful landscaping plus imported grass. Hii si ile unangoja ati imee randomly.
You don’t have to invest this huge or small. We have you covered by doing a bespoke one for you.
We are working to incorporate Cx5s in the renders lakini Hatujapata CX5 clients (who want to build) of late. Kwani hamjengi now that naskia hiyo machine iko fuel efficient. Comes with i-stop feature.
Siri ni gani ? People have fuel guzzlers and still on rampage.
75% possession sounds impressive until you realise 72% of it was just four players in the blue triangle passing to each other.
All that ball, and still no clue how to break Arsenal down.
Man United fans still talk about history. Chelsea fans still talk about 2021. Arsenal fans are talking about next season. One group lives in the future, the others live in museums.😂😂🙌
nobody wanted Arsenal to win the Prem because we thought their fans were gonna be unbearable and annoying, but whats ended up happening is everyone else has become completely unbearable instead, crying and belittling their achievements as much as possible just to fuel agendas
Nobody wanted Arsenal to win the Premier League because they all assumed our fans would be utterly insufferable about it. Instead, it’s everyone else who’s turned out to be completely unbearable, endlessly crying, downplaying their success, and twisting it all just to push their own agendas.
The same people who spent years calling them bottlers and frauds are now acting like the title was handed to them on a plate. Every achievement gets met with “but they spent money” or “it doesn’t count because City were in transition” or some other desperate cope. The salt levels are off the charts, and it’s honestly more entertaining than the actual football at this point. Arsenal finally win it and the rest of the league turns into a bunch of conspiracy theorists who can’t cope with reality.
