@DustBowlFren@ClaireFosterPHD@libsoftiktok Yes, but apparently one of them actually did it.
Authorities are looking for him. He posted a video, so that’s an open and shut case.
As St. Thomas Aquinas said:
“If you would like to know God, LOOK AT THE CRUCIFIX!
If you would like to love God, LOOK AT THE CRUCIFIX!
If you want to serve God, LOOK AT THE CRUCIFIX!
If you hope for eternal Happiness, LOOK AT THE CRUCIFIX!
If you wonder how much God loves you, LOOK AT THE CRUCIFIX!
If you wonder how He tries to prevent you from the yawning jaws of hell, LOOK AT THE CRUCIFIX!
If you wonder how much He will help you to save your immortal soul, LOOK AT THE CRUCIFIX!
If you wonder how much you should forgive others, LOOK AT THE CRUCIFIX!
If you wonder how much your faith demands of you, in humility, poverty, charity, meekness and every virtue, LOOK AT THE CRUCIFIX!
If you want to know what unselfishness and generosity are, LOOK AT THE CRUCIFIX!
If you wonder how far your own unselfishness should go to bring others to Christ, LOOK AT THE CRUCIFIX!
If you want to understand the need for self-denial and mortification, LOOK AT THE CRUCIFIX!
If you wish to live well, LOOK AT THE CRUCIFIX!
If you wish to die well, LOOK AT THE CRUCIFIX!”
Mormons and Catholics believe in two different Gods. Both call God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, but each means a totally different thing from the other.
In Catholicism, God is three persons in one divine nature. God is immaterial and absolutely simple. In Mormonism, the three persons are distinct in substance and essence. They are made of material and exist in a material world.
In Catholicism, God created everything ex nihilo (from nothing). He brings everything into existence, and all existence is contingent on him. God is the uncaused cause—the ultimate explanation of all things.
In Mormonism, God does not bring all things into existence from nothing. Instead, he organizes eternally existing matter. This matter has existed forever, and all things, including god, are made by it.
This should already suffice to show that Mormons worship an altogether different "god" from Christians, so Mormonism is not a type or denomination of Christianity.
But setting aside that debate for the moment, there is a more fundamental question: is the Mormon view a sufficient explanation for why anything exists at all?
It is not. Eternal matter cannot explain its own reason for existence, let alone existence itself. Only a theology where God is the very act of being can explain reality fully.

Finnish scientists trucked in real forest dirt and grass and laid it over the gravel at four daycare yards. They let the kids dig around in it for a month. The blood tests came back with changes the researchers hadn’t expected to see so fast or so clear.
The study ran at ten daycares in two Finnish cities with 75 kids aged three to five. Four of the yards got the forest treatment: about a tennis court worth of soil and grass laid over the gravel, plus planters and peat blocks the kids could dig and climb on. Three others stuck with their normal gravel yards. The last three were daycares where the kids were already visiting real forests every day.
After one month, the variety of bacteria living on the kids’ skin shot up, and the kind that helps train the skin’s immune defenses jumped the most. Their gut bacteria started to look like the gut bacteria of the forest-visiting kids. Their blood showed more of the immune cells whose job is to keep the body from freaking out at harmless stuff like pollen and peanuts, and overall inflammation dropped. The kids on the plain gravel yards showed none of this.
Childhood asthma in the US doubled between 1980 and 1995. Food allergies in kids jumped 50 percent between 1997 and 2011, then jumped another 50 percent between 2007 and 2021. And peanut allergies in one-year-olds tripled between 2001 and 2017.
The Finnish researchers think one of the reasons is simple: kids today don’t get dirty enough. 37 percent of American preschoolers now spend an hour or less outside on a normal weekday. Their immune systems are getting trained in environments stripped of the bacteria humans have always lived around.
Aki Sinkkonen, who led the study, put it in plain words: “It would be best if children could play in puddles and everyone could dig organic soil.” The Finnish government is now helping pay for daycares across the country to make the same changes.
THE NIGHT BEFORE HE WAS EXECUTED, THIS SAINT WROTE A LETTER.
His name was Miguel Pro.
He was only 36 years old.
A Jesuit priest in Mexico during the Cristero persecution, when the government made it illegal to be Catholic, illegal to celebrate Mass, and illegal to wear a priest’s collar in public.
So Father Pro went underground.
He disguised himself as a mechanic, a beggar, and even a businessman.
He smuggled the Eucharist to the dying in secret.
He baptized babies in hidden rooms.
He heard confessions inside moving cars.
Every day, he risked his life to bring Christ to souls.
When the government finally captured him, they wanted to make him an example.
They invited photographers, believing the image of a dead priest would humiliate the Church.
But Father Miguel Pro walked calmly before the firing squad.
He refused the blindfold.
Then he stretched out his arms in the shape of a Cross and cried out:
“¡Viva Cristo Rey!”
Long live Christ the King.
Moments later, they shot him.
But the photograph they took to destroy the faith became one of the most powerful images of Catholic martyrdom in history.
They tried to silence Christianity.
Instead, they gave the world a witness of fearless faith.
Father Miguel Pro was beatified by Pope Saint John Paul II in 1988.
If you are going through something painful today, remember this:
A 36 year old priest smiled in front of a firing squad because he knew Christ was worth everything.
His faith was not just words.
It was total surrender.
🕊️ Repost this for someone who needs courage today.
Cut the bullshit. You’re not “losing your identity to motherhood.” You are FULFILLING YOUR IDENTITY IN MOTHERHOOD. And having small children is a temporary part of your life even if it lasts 2 decades like it did for me. Have some gratitude.
I never thought I'd ever agree or repost a Lila Rose clip, but here we are.
My thoughts: First, this guy knocks it out of the park (watch the video). Christianity needs to get back to the biblical model of courting and the traditional Christian (and biblical) household codes. 99% of postmodern Christians have zero understanding of biblical marriage or it's intended purpose (and how it's supposed to mirror the relationship of Christ and the Chruch). They all just follow the pagan world and it's views on love and dating today that they learn from Disney at a young age, up to the pagan Romance movies and novels they digest.
Second, while Lila (and some women) may find what he is saying to be true in their spirit... almost all modern Christian women today are infested with feminism down to their bone marrow, and will run for the hills if you continue down the traditional biblical roles of men and women. The second you try to teach modern Christian women the truth of God's Word (Eph5 and 1Pet3) that they are to submit to their husbands, "AS the church submits to Christ, In EVERYTHING, as you submit to the Lord, without a word of argument, even when you think he's wrong, with a chaste and deferential demeanor, accompanied by fear (of your husband's authority over you as your Head)"..... they will screech to the Heavens. "get back to courting? Sure, that sounds romantic, just like Pride and prejudice. I can get on board with that!" but "Submit to my imperfect husband in everything, as unto the Lord... no way! You narcissist control freak! That's abusive to women." haha
The second you start teaching modern Christian women "those" biblical truths, and how we are to raise daughters to be a wife, mother, homemakers and home-centered (NOT career oriented like Lila!)... and that father's need to protect the purity of their daughter's at all cost until a husband is found to take over her protection and provision, and stop sending them off to college's outside your covering and having them seduced and deflowered by seducing men... thats a biblical bridge too far for these "conservative" christian female influencers. They want to decry modern feminism and pull back the reins a little bit on modern disfunction... but only to 1980s Christian marriages... 1780s Christian marriages is a bridge too far for them. They still want their Women's suffrage, independence, no-fault divorce, and ability to run around in their college years and "experience life" before settling down and heaping that emotional damage and baggage onto a Godly husband from church.
There are a hundred changes that need made to christian dating and marriages. The modern view in almost all churches on this topic are demonic, antichrist, anti-biblical, and destroying the western church. You supposed to get married to a Godly spouse to create a miniature godly kingdom on earth in your home mirroring the church and Christ. It's not about romance, its not all about you, it's not about your happiness, it's not about finding "the One"... its about Kingdom building for God, putting the household first, having lots of kids and raising them in the fear and admonition of the Lord through homeschooling. They don't even teach the difference between Agape and Eros love anymore in church and how Eros is never even mentioned in the bible.
So many more things to consider and discuss on this topic, but a vast majority of modern Christian marriages are unbiblical train wrecks today because we've rejected the traditional biblical patriarchy approach and modeled Christian marriages after the pagans... and now professing Christians divorce at the exact same rate as the pagans... who would have guessed it. When you reject God's ways, and do it your own way, you're bound for failure.
If you are reading this and absolutely confused about what I'm talking about, do yourself a favor, buy the three marriage books below (absolutely theological and doctrinal approaches to marriage that were the Gold standard in teaching on the subject of marriage and child rearing for hundreds of years until the feminists conquered and overtook the church in the 1960s) and compare the biblical approach in these books to the modern dumpsterfire pagan advice given in modern Christian marriage books today. It will save your marriage if you do it God's way.

On November 14, 1921, a violent attempt was made to destroy the sacred image of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City. An anti-clerical extremist hid a bomb inside a bouquet of flowers and placed it directly beneath the tilma of St. Juan Diego inside the Basilica.
When the bomb exploded, the damage was severe, marble steps were shattered, nearby windows were blown out, and a heavy brass crucifix standing near the altar was bent into a U-shape by the force of the blast.
Yet something extraordinary happened.
The tilma bearing the image of Our Lady of Guadalupe remained completely unharmed. The protective glass covering it did not shatter, and the image itself showed no burn marks, tears, or damage whatsoever.
The bent crucifix, now known as the “Santo Cristo del Atentado” (Holy Christ of the Attack), is still preserved at the Basilica as a reminder of the event.
This account is documented in historical records of the Basilica and reported by Catholic historians and news archives describing the 1921 attack on the shrine
For millions of pilgrims, this event is seen as a powerful sign of protection over the image that has inspired faith for nearly five centuries.
