¡Golpe contundente contra el secuestro y la extorsión en Colombia!

La Operación “Perla”, ejecutada por nuestra Policía Nacional, a través del GAULA y en coordinación con la Fiscalía General de la Nación, dejó 148 capturados en seis ciudades y 12 departamentos del país.

Entre ellos, 75 por extorsión, 32 por hechos relacionados con secuestro y 41 por delitos conexos. Además, fueron incautados 1.195 elementos, entre armas de fuego, munición, granadas, celulares, motocicletas, un vehículo, un dron, dinero en efectivo y estupefacientes.

La operación golpeó estructuras como el ELN, el Clan del Golfo, las Autodefensas Conquistadoras de la Sierra y distintos grupos delincuenciales que venían sembrando miedo y extorsionando a comerciantes, transportadores y ciudadanos.

Durante mi Gobierno ya han sido capturadas 114 personas por secuestro y 390 por extorsión, y gracias a la denuncia ciudadana se ha evitado el pago de más de $34.000 millones a organizaciones delincuenciales.

A los secuestradores y extorsionistas les tiene que quedar claro: vamos por ustedes. No vamos a permitir que sigan financiándose con el miedo y el trabajo de los colombianos.
