Incredible morning at Baston Fen, Lincolnshire. Thrilled to watch this Red-footed Falcon in flight, for it to then land closer than where it was first spotted. Beautiful birds glad to get one not too far from home. @Lincsbirding

Purple Heron made its way up the River Trent, starting from Attenborough, passing through HP, Netherfield, before reaching RSPB Langford Lowfields found by Mark Dawson. Thanks to all the volunteers who made access for viewing possible!

Our cunning plan is progressing nicely & we're aiming to re-open (albeit it partially - just the section of Trail between Beach Hut & Corfe Castle) on 22nd April from 10:00. After a frustrating 6 month closure it'll be great welcoming people back to Langford!! Photo @James4Nature

It's such a joy to have warblers returning! Although the reserve is still closed, there's plenty to listen to and observe along the perimeter footpath. Grasshopper Warbler is one of my favourites, seen today at Langford Lowfields.
