@gohatt @RandPaul @gohatt, Senator Paul seems to be the only member of Congress who wants to reduce the deficit to zero. The CR keeps the deficit at about 7% of GDP (normal is about 2% to 3%). The Democrats want to raise it by about another percentage point ($150 billion per year on average).

Risk if it goes poorly: significant loss ($BBBBB) of federal funding by poking a sharp stick in the eye of the administration. Reward: it may attract some LG+ students (tiny $).

@Seawolfcap @Seawolfcap - what’s the play here? FNM, FRE are cash flowing - which flows to the Treasury - it’s a rare, non-tax source of revenue for the government. Why sell that off?

On the other hand, it’ll be a very nice gain for the govt, so it’ll reduce the debt (if they’re smart).

@Seawolfcap @Seawolfcap, there was some additional context in the interview that was key… David Faber was asking Musk about control ownership in TSLA and activism in TSLA, etc., and Faber asked if xAI were to sell to TSLA, then Musk’s pro forma ownership would increase = more control.

@FedEx Would you please consider training your delivery drivers to hide the boxes they deliver? This box is about 24" tall and 18" wide, and can be EASILY seen from the street - so any would-be thief can quickly grab it.

The Amazon drivers often hide the boxes behind the pillar.
