@whippletom A genuine problem for authors, too. I think this is what has (possibly) sunk GRR Martin. You keep on adding stuff in until the point where you have no way of providing a satisfactory conclusion. PG Wodehouse was rather good at the dramatic disentanglements, though.

For decades, images and video have been definitive in proving guilt. Now anyone can say ‘it’s just AI’. Trump’s Obama arrest video is to reinforce this, not (just) to troll.
