@MichellePye7 @FonterraSHC Thanks @MichellePye7, it’s been a blast! Proud to have served Fonterra farmers and our co-op, and yes I’m looking forward to a holiday, we’ll see how long that lasts.
@m_herbert @bex_stevenson I agree, a key reason for representation is in our relatively disperse shareholding. I’m not sure it’s also the driver behind the salary differential outlined in the article, that might have more to do with the relative scale of each business
We care about supporting farmers right through their careers. We’re kicking off a piece of work looking at support services in place for farmers & whether they can easily & confidently access help when needed. To share your views or learn more click: https://t.co/7AEYNy2yQ4
At Fonterra we care about the environment and the communities in which we operate. We’re always looking for ways to improve, and one area that’s always a focus for us is water. https://t.co/evUVXZw1Ur
Thanks to all @Fonterra farmers, staff, customers and partners for getting us through 2020. It’s been one heck of a ride but your support has been instrumental in getting our Co-op heading in the right direction. Special thanks to those that will work through the festive season.
Fonterra farmers proud of hard work put in by board, management and staff during the Covid pandemic. Milk was collected, Farm Source team supported farmers, processing went on and products delivered & sold globally. @Fonterra @FonterraSHC @JamesBarron123 https://t.co/XDMhGDBcVY
The remit budget does not allow for us to engage with farmers which they said we need to do better loudly and clearly in the review . It’s up to shareholders to vote how you see fit but I ask you to speak to your local councillor first to ensure you get the full picture.
I’m really concerned about what it will mean for @Fonterra Shareholders if AGM remits changing how @FonterraSHC operates get supported. Our review is complete & shareholders have been listened to. We have a plan that will enable far more engagement and transparency next year 1/2
It’s disappointing for COVID alert levels to be back in place, but we’ve been here before and we know what to do. We have plans in place and are taking all the necessary steps to ensure our people and the community are safe. Take care of one another – Tātou, tātou.
@m_herbert@smalltorquer @987billco @J14Jonny @goaheadfarms @FonterraSHC @Fonterra@MooreBnmoore The wider question for us all is should SHC focus on industry issues like succession, or leave that to industry bodies like Dairynz and Feds?
@m_herbert@smalltorquer @987billco @J14Jonny @goaheadfarms @FonterraSHC @Fonterra@MooreBnmoore Hi Matthew, I hear you loud and clear. We have SM’s on the SHC and consider SM’s perspectives when carrying out our role. A live example is that we’ve highlighted the tension that arises because Farm owners and SM’s can’t take different positions on Fixed Milk Price

@MarcLloydJones@Fonterra@mwhurrell You and me both Marc! A clinical approach to food safety and the health and safety of our people means our operations continue in these times of challenge. Credit to Miles and team for a steady hand on the helm.
