One of the #SFOneHealth delegates checking out a poster from PhD student Georgia Baldwin - 'Ym1 as a Regulator of IL-17'.
Georgia is part of our Wellcome Trust Immunomatrix in Complex Disease PhD Programme @ProfJudiAllen@wtccmr@PH_Papotto @Labninja2 @JamesEP_
We are very happy to announce the eighty exceptional scientists elected as Fellows of the Royal Society this year, selected for their outstanding contributions to the advancement of science. Meet the new Fellows and find out more about their research: https://t.co/it2SIc0UUH
So excited that Conor's paper is out! Congrats
@Conorisco@Lili_Zhang_Dr@JamesEP_
and more. Thanks to our funders - Wellcome & for this paper mostly MRC-UK. Some of my thoughts in the following thread. https://t.co/mdOoaeSOAb
So excited that @Conorisco paper is finally officially accepted to Immunity. Conor was the lead in every way but great support from @JamesEP_@Lili_Zhang_Dr @Labninja2 and many more. More later on how adaptive immunity drives macrophage trajectory and therefore function.
Boom! Loved writing this review with @tripledougdyer and @ProfJudiAllen. Very excited to highlight connections between the extracellular matrix and our immune system that are so fundamental for regulating health, disease and ageing @AbdnLifeScience@AbdnImmunology
Come join us in Aberdeen, an amazing part of North Scotland- be part of a cohort of 7 PhD students all starting Oct ‘23. Work with my lab developing 3D lung organoids to study chitinases and fungal pathogens - closing 6th Feb. Details https://t.co/oTkXQoITCe
🚨 WormBase ParaSite needs your help 🚨
Please help us secure future funding. We appeal to all labs that use our resource to endorse our proposal using this link by 21st December. Thank you! https://t.co/OZFAPe7a3k

@PeronaLab and @HenryMcSorley discuss the lessons #helminths teach us about #MusocalImmunology

1.What if we explored different models for how labs could run? For example? the multi-PI lab. Presently every PI is like a decathlete: paper writing, grant writing, project management, budgeting, mentoring, etc. It would be so fun to run lab w/ other PIs & divide these chores up!
Ms Georgia Baldwin is the first of our WT ICD Programme PhD students to speak, with her talk entitled “How do Ym1 and Ym2 regulate communication between the immune system and the extracellular matrix?” #LBISS2022
Fantastic for a first paper for the lab and @JamesEP_
Might be biased, but I love this paper showing ECM remodelling, CLPs and immune responses in an allergic airway pathology model. Thanks @ImmunolCellBiol, the journal review process was a quick and great experience
Really enjoyed presenting my poster and chatting all things IMC at #BSI21 Looking forward to the last day of barrier immunity and covid-19 sessions 🫁🦠💉#BeckerAtTheBSI
@riri_domingues presenting Hugo Penny's work from the @Hepworth_Lab on the rythmicity of intestinal IgA responses in the intestine and how that interacts with the commensal microbiota. #BSI21#BeckerAtTheBSI Check out the preprint here: https://t.co/jcnuxKm4em
Come and visit @bd_0725 today at 5:30pm (p520) to find out more about her exciting work on IL-13 induced HA accumulation in the lung from the @DrTESutherland Lab 🫁 #BSI21
Wonderful talk from Paul Martin showing some of interesting things we can do fish and fly models in understanding wound healing and I think we should all adopt this acknowledgements format.
