Dave is right. They were acting as unqualified experts that could not be cross examined. I would also point out that “nurse” is a blanket term that spreads from a certificate LPN program all the way up to a bachelors RN program. Huge education difference- particularly in theory and science, the critical factors here. High probability their analysis was just wrong depending on their training and education.
