@AtTheRaces@MCYeeehaaa Been wondering about this for a long time as I know plenty of racegoers that won’t go racing if a concert is on. Would some form of mini-agricultural show be a good idea instead, thus getting the everyday townies to learn something about country life whilst at the races?
@RacingTV@BHAHorseracing@LuckOnSunday@WorldPool Surely it would make more sense for a NH horse knocked over by a loose horse, through no fault of his own, in a race to be deemed a NR than a horse who brings the problem on himself in the stalls to be a NR?
@RacingTV@Betfred@EpsomRacecourse The horse was on the drift all day so the R4 wasn’t as bad as it could have been, imagine if he had been backed in to odds-on!!! Will this rule be looked at again as clearly a lot of grey areas to clear up?
@progambler47 I’d say nowadays under 1% would know how to correctly settle a win multiple bet where the customer has made the mistake of putting two selections in the same race. Amount of times I’ve heard them say, “Two patents with an EW acca.” Embarrassment to bookmaking.
@HonestFrank@EpsomRacecourse@AndrewBalding2@clarebalding From 1995-2009 the wishing well predicted 11/15 winners, but sadly not one since. In recent years it’s the third time an Andrew Balding horse has been chalked up, third time lucky so I’m keeping the faith🍀
@MichaelJohnCh11 Fascinating viewing. Wish there had been a whole series on him to go deeper in to his thinking with some turf techniques. I’ve come away wanting more.
@FB2812@WorkElizab Kev, you star and thank you very much for this. Do you know if you can still get it in cans? Offies used to do them but they seem to have vanished along with the tinnies!
@BettingSitesCom 1979 giving Willie Carson his first of 4 Derby victories; 45 years later City of Troy wins giving Ryan Moore his fourth Derby victory.
@Stewarding101@BettingSitesCom@JoePorter1990 It is! You can tell it’s Bechers as it has ‘6R’ on the wing, the brook is covered, the houses in the background are the Aintree houses on the other side of the canal and in the top corner you can see the left wing of Valentines Brook.
