Last night, we joined the 50th Precinct for #NationalNightOut—celebrating community, public safety, and the people who make the Bronx feel like home.
Grateful to stand with @NYPD50Pct, community leaders, and neighbors working together to build a stronger, safer NYC. #NNO2025

Today at the Bronx VA, DVS Commissioner DeCohen & partners awarded Mr. Jose Sanchez the NYS Medal for Merit. A proud Veteran & lifelong servant of others, his courage and compassion inspire us all!

Too many veterans miss out on the benefits they’ve earned—compensation that can mean hundreds or even thousands of dollars each month. As it says, "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge." We’re here to change that—one claim at a time.
We proudly joined with the NYC Department of Veterans Services to re-launch the Veterans Resource Center at Bronx Borough Hall. We are committed and determined to support our veterans, those who served and those who are serving, and our military families.
We look forward to this important partnership with my Administration.
