The culture of football is officially broken.

NIL, transfer portal, 6th year seniors, high school kids transferring 2-3 times between freshmen - senior year, youth select travel teams, personal trainers making more money than @elonmusk by training 9 year olds how to run routes.

We are just chasing after the wind. Good luck catching it. Football was once built on the foundation of commitment, grit, finish what you start no matter the cost.

We should apologize now to future employers, wives, and children for the young men that are learning to quit or leave when things are difficult or times get tough.

This story doesn't end well.

I heard a U13 select volleyball coach yelling at his team while the parents listened in.

“You all need to take this seriously if you want to play collegiate volleyball. Stop screwing around with other sports. Focus just on volleyball year around.”

The girls were all about 5’3 being sold a lie.

If this sounds familiar, pull your kid from that team asap.

Just watch the @NFL draft. Even the greats played multiple sports.

Life is too short. Play multiple sports.

Why?

Before you know it, it’s all over. Even for those that make it to D1 or pros.

The most common comment I get from alumni that didn’t play football while in high school is “I regret not playing football for you.”

No regrets. Play multiple sports!!

Watched a High School aged girl officiate a youth game today. She had to eject an adult fan that was yelling...and she handled it really well.

Then I found out she quit and didn't come back for the next game.

Adults...What are we doing???
