@Bomber0601 @autumnnations @rugbyontnt You’re brought onside automatically if the opposing team kicks the ball from the base of the ruck, so just poor decision making from Aus really and nothing to do with the ref
@davidmajestic83 Frame by frame looks like his arm is we in touch just before as he was leading with the left arm. At the very least would be simultaneous so should still be no try. No clue why this wasn’t picked up
@glove931 I don’t think I would have been able to recover and watch Scotland ever again (at least until the next game where the fervent hope comes back)
@AndyNic9 Not once were they actually outplayed in the whole tournament, everything was entirely self-destructive and failing to capitalize on good starts. Much more than other campaigns was this the ‘one that got away’
@Naxis911 Found it baffling how much they were bigging up a bench of prem players only with no established test caps/ achievements. Great to see the vindication
@ScotRugbyBlog Something I don’t get-you need the membership to be eligible then tickets sold out within 20mins?! Would have thought that that would make it difficult for the away fans, but they must have an agreement somewhere
@WisdenCricket So if you know which umpires are more likely to give 50/50s, you don’t tweak your batting approach to reduce the likelihood of them needing to make that decision? Sounds like game management issues to me
@ScotRugbyBlog Pros: VdG backline, Horne in the squad
Cons: I would have 100% had Mish on the bench- experience, ball carrying ability, and his hunger at a potential last WC all very important. Slight question of Smith over Steyn, but I guess Kinghorn can be shifted to wing if need be.
@ScotRugbyPod There’s in your head, and ‘having to pull out financial statements to back up a point barely relevant to the joke at hand’ in your head 🎣
