Due to the federal government shutdown that began Oct. 1, the @USDA has notified California that November @calfreshfood benefits cannot be issued at this time.
Here’s what that means:
• If you have CalFresh funds already on your EBT card, you can keep using them for food.
• November benefits are paused nationwide until the federal government provides new guidance.
If you need immediate food assistance, visit https://t.co/Pw7lciCGmK or call 2-1-1 for a list of locations distributing free food.
If you receive CalWORKs benefits, CalWORKs funding WILL be available for November 2025, and Medi-Cal coverage will remain available through Dec. 31, 2025. We will continue to share updates as new information becomes available.
