@pbustinduy Another priority will be advancing the Digital Fairness Act to tackle unethical practices in the digital space.
The goal: to protect consumers from dark patterns, unfair personalisation, and other harmful practices.
A public consultation will open in mid 2025.
Two recruits join @EUCssrMcGrath to work on the Digital Fairness Act. @egelynbraun was responsible for the Fitness Check and is now policy coordinator in McGrath’s cabinet. @LucieRsl_ who had previously worked under @dreynders on consumer policy will also join McGrath.

In Brussels today at the European Commission for a meeting of the EU Consumer Policy Advisory Group. Looking forward to learning more about the upcoming Consumer Agenda 2030, the Digital Fairness Act and the reform of the CPC Regulation.
