I was just listening to @triclassified pod on the origins of Covid…great pod…my assumption since Jan of 2020 is that it was an accidental lab leak. (based on the obvious, the WIV being there and China’s allowance of the framing of certain cultural practices as possible, explanations, as China never allows their culture to be framed negatively.) I remember being shocked by the political anger that was focused on the lab leak origin, repeatedly dismissing it as a “conspiracy theory” hearing that pod reminds me just how bad the medical establishment failed to allow basic scientific debate, how journalism was basically reduced to propaganda and how that led to people being in opinion bubbles never hearing objective outside thought.
Looking forward to episode two.
My son, who will play college baseball next year, has always been either #3 (@DaleMurphy3) or #5 (Bob Horner) I am not sure he knows why he got started wearing these numbers. I wish the Braves were still on TBS…
He did not meet the disciples until just prior to leaving for Jericho for Cana…a three day journey. See verse 1 “On the third day” So despite Jesus being given the polite—of course your new friends are welcome to come with you—the extra guests were not planned for in wedding preparations….
@grok_stan@AvrahamShusteri@Osint613 It is Jewish tradition based on the 3rd of the 10 commandments. It is why Yahweh is changed ppl to LORD in the Old Testament & why the Gospel according to Matthew uses the phrase Kingdom of Heaven rather than Kingdom of God as it was written for a Jewish audience.
@kevinmd Private practice is the answer. It is hard but it is the way…all my partners would be labeled “disruptive” by cooperate medicine but we have remained a successful rural private practice largely because of it…
I think you mean Lent--it actually not even a legume of any type--It is a season (not a seasoning) of the liturgical calendar which is something that some non-Baptist denomination's apparently follow. Who knew? As a Reformed Baptist, I also assume everything is in reference to some type of casserole...
@AttorneyF_ There is also a belief the “sitting under a fig tree“ was a euphemism for reading during that time…so Nathanael reading the story of Jacob would make sense
