@SpaceCoastCRE Tell them that representing a client who is “outside of their field of competence” is a violation of article 11 of the NAR Code of Ethics. Then offer them a referral fee if the client is worth your time.
@realEstateTrent I showed a property that I have for lease to a residential agent and her client. The agent told me that they were interested in moving forward and I told her to send me a letter of intent. She sent me a letter that stated that her client intended to lease the property.
@realEstateTrent There needs to be two separate licenses. I’m a commercial broker and residential agents contact me about one of my properties almost weekly now. It rarely turns out well and is usually a big waste of time for everyone involved.
For this year's BREDD (Best Real Estate Deals & Dealmakers) awards, MBJ profiled 30 elite agents, brokers, and leaders — including Tanis Hackmeyer, Shawn Massey, and James McCraw — who make Mid-South real estate the real deal every day. https://t.co/JNpgMZ1lIY
Congratulations to our client Landmark Commercial on the recent disposition of their mixed use property 8 South Main in Downtown Memphis. The North side of South Main really has a lot of momentum, and it’s exciting to see what’s coming next! @JHigdonCRE @AY_Memphis
Buying a 675,000-square-foot office tower for just $55 a square foot in a prime, East Memphis location gives the new owners latitude to spend a lot more money improving the building and adding tenant amenities. https://t.co/GH5GctebBG
@FlannCasey This is a big issue, and we really need to have two separate licenses. Commercial and residential real estate are completely different and someone who is not properly trained in the other discipline is not efficiently representing their client.
https://t.co/nLwAGE8Pvv I thoroughly enjoyed this deal and the business owner being a fellow US Marine was the cherry on top. Another great tenant has now opened at the Shoppes at Wolfchase, and Bike the Planet will make a great addition to the center. @AY_Memphis
For three out of four quarters in 2020, I am truly honored to be recognized by CoStar US as a 2020 #CoStarPowerBroker Quarterly Deals winner for closing three of the top retail leases in #CRE in the Memphis Market. Congratulations to the other winners as well! @AY_Memphis
https://t.co/eFKpnuBGc1 This is another great concept opening in the Edge District of Memphis, and with almost 6,500 square feet, Craft Axe is going to be a main draw to the area. Congratulations to @JHigdonCRE who co-brokered the deal. @AY_Memphis
I enjoyed representing the tenant in this deal. Da Zone Nutrition is a great healthy choice for the Whitehaven area of Memphis, and it’s always a pleasure working with Andy Walker from Crye-Leike Commercial who represented the Landlord. @AY_Memphis

I’m honored to introduce the newest member of the AY Memphis Retail Advisory Team. We have had a phenomenal first year in retail and as our business has been rapidly growing, Anna-Kathryn was the first and only choice to be the next member of the team.
This was a fun deal, and the Alex Farms chicken salad really is out of this world. If you haven’t checked them out yet, then you’re missing out. I’ve eaten there several times now, and I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for them. https://t.co/B6oqoDsTgP
@ErikTSexton They absolutely should be separated. Most of the experienced residential agents know that CRE is out of their area of expertise. Almost every time that I am contacted by a residential agent, they have no idea how CRE works. Separating the licenses would protect the general public
