@mattstestlab1 @Alex_Kozora Good try but this is a horrible analogy. He's not gonna get moved sides, he's gonna get moved to the bench. Playing right tackle is really not that much different from left and has nothing to do with knowing what the play is
@attymal@Alex_Kozora Have you ever played tackle before? It's really not difficult to switch sides. The side he's on has absolutely nothing to do with him not knowing the play or whiffing on blocks
@GOALSMonkey@Alex_Kozora Lol never would trade TJ. You don't trade the best player in the league. Jury is still out on Pickett. No need to overreact to the first game of his 2nd year... against the best defense in the league
@Steev1705 @Alex_Kozora@RichEisenShow Honestly there's room to keep Gentry. If they only keep 5 WR and/or 8 OL he'll be kept. They really only need 23 guys on offense
@TheGunnShow55@kevin_david91@Luciow1992@FirstTake Last year was last year. Kenny Pickett had the 4th highest QBR after the bye last, does that mean he's a top 7 QB in the league? They have some good players I just don't see it being an overall top tier unit. Tough to cover when you don't have guys putting pressure on the QB
@TheGunnShow55@kevin_david91@Luciow1992@FirstTake According to who? I think they'll be average at best this year. Very strong on the second level with those ILBs, but very questionable secondary outside of Humphrey and Hamilton, and literally zero proven pass rushers. Going to be asking the backend to cover for a LONG time.
@SQUIRREL0NR01DZ@Luciow1992@FirstTake Agree on all except OL. Should be much improved but definitely better than CLE and no telling if it will be better than BAL or CIN.
@Luciow1992@FirstTake Who is rushing the passer in Baltimore that makes them better defensively? Steelers are far superior defensively than anyone in the North. Will come down to health and the offense being able to do just enough. Should win every game they score 24+
@WestrnDemocracy @steelers@highsmith34@84LumberNews Don't forget Cam and Larry on the interior. Well be fine there. Corner little more questionable but gotta like the combo of experience and youth. I'd imagine Kazee will start at SS and Neal will mostly come in as a LB in subs and maybe one of them slides to slot occasionally
@SuniRoz @Blitz_Burgh Pickett was a rookie on very young offense with an inexperienced pro play caller. Purdy with one of the best offensive supporting casts and play callers in the league. Tough comparison for anyone. Pickett showed a lot of poise and resiliency. Truly believe he'll be the better qb
