It’s Grant Holmes lol. He’s been ina rut also, about to lose his rotation spot. Not to mention, it was wet af, and he clearly was struggling to grip the ball. I’m sure he’s a good prospect but you took a struggling inaccurate pitcher pitching in the rain to this guy and made him sound like Babe Ruth haha
@ViewerAnon Show runners and marketing season did this show no justice. It was propped up to be full of action and exciting but a lot of it is slow burn, and some parts are horrible. Season overall was better than I remember, they mostly set season 3 up well in my opinion.
@ChoppinBravos Three questionable starts for us too. Holmes has been worrisome, need Ritchie to be a dawg, and can Perez turn in a good outing and maybe WW let’s him go 6? Tough times
I kept a positive outlook but realistically I was slightly worried about extending Key. It’s a pill ya gotta swallow, but NYC eats a lot of young guys up. I think Key was one of them.
Didn’t that pick turn out to be the Gabe pick? If so, I think we’re going to end up in a wash at least. Personally, I think Gabe will be a more valuable player.
@LethalPlatypus1 JR earned that next start, should be SF. Good for us and him, build some confidence and momentum. After that would be SD and then you’re right on top of the deadline.
