I don’t know if this news matters to anyone in this world, but just a little while ago, a 6 year old child was killed while trying to collect firewood for his family to prepare food. The child was not carrying a weapon, not carrying a bomb, not carrying anything at all. He was completely visible in front of the soldier who killed him. His only “crime” was collecting firewood.

Do you realize this? This is a child, innocent, posing no threat, and yet he was killed as if his life meant nothing. Killing has become easy, and innocence no longer protects anyone here. I saw his father in video clips, and I swear to you, he began to lose his mind; he could not bear the loss of his only child.

Not a single day passes without more martyrs. Everything they call a “ceasefire” is just a trick for the world. Do not stay silent. Write, share, tell the world what is happening here.

Palestinian academic Bassem Abudagga, studying in York, has not seen his family in Gaza for three years.

Keir Starmer's Home Office has decided that there is "no urgency" to approving a visa for his wife and two young children, who are living in an emergency tent after Israel bombed their home, so they can be reunited.

The Home Office has also decided there's no "sufficiently compelling" reason for his wife to defer attending a visa application centre, even though Israel bombed all the centres.

Imagine this is the Second Word War and a Jewish academic is trying to get his family out of the Warsaw Ghetto, and the British government's response is to play these depraved, time-buying games. We'd be under no illusions about what was going on.

Starmer and his government are simply beneath contempt.
